Hello everyone. I'm back. Things are going pretty well here. I had a tough week last week when it came to motivating myself to do anything. This week though I've kind of gotten back on track. I'm doing my homework better now, or really I'm reviewing for my AP tests better now, and I'm getting outside to exercise everyday. Moving on to bigger things today I'm going to talk about the environment. I was already a pretty big environmentalist, but during quarantine that has just grown. Today I installed a new thermostat in my house to manage the climate in an environmental way. I have minimized the amount of meat, and dairy I'm eating. I've done hours of research into ways to minimize my own carbon emissions, and many more upgrades will be completed around the house to achieve this. There are some other things I've done too, such as becoming a member of the Sierra club, and Tommy Caldwell's new environmental lobbying group. I'm not a massive Sierra club fan. It has it's faults, but It's better than nothing. Environmentalism has become a main focus of mine so expect to here more about that.
Recommendations this week are going to be good. For my book I'm going with Desert Solitaire. Its another Edward Abbey classic about his time working as a Park Ranger at what was the Arches National Monument. For album I'm going to go with College Dropout by Kanye. I think that it's the best Kanye album, and would recommend it for anyone. For movie I'm gonna ride with 21, It's a movie about a group of MIT students who counted cards in Vegas, and made ridiculous sums of money. It does have Kevin Spacey in it though so that's kind of a tough aspect now. Finally the podcast episode will be The Foot Soldier of Birmingham from Revisionists history. This whole show is awesome especially this episode. So that's it. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you later
